Asuris’ Dental4Health® program empowers you to improve the overall health of your patients by treating oral infections that are linked to systemic issues, such as heart disease and diabetes. Asuris dental members with eligible medical conditions are automatically enrolled and have immediate access to more benefits (with no waiting periods) at no extra cost. When you provide your patients with the additional services covered by Dental4Health, your practice can increase preventive visits, expand patient volume and build patient loyalty. It’s more than a dental program—it’s a proactive approach to better health.

Quick facts:

No forms, no hassle: Eligible members are enrolled automatically.

  • More dental benefits: Enrolled members receive additional benefits.

  • No extra cost for patients: There are no out-of-pocket costs when members visit a participating provider, and program services do not count toward their annual dental maximum. This makes it easy for eligible patients to take advantage of the preventive and periodontal services you provide.


Enrolling is easy

Members with Asuris medical and dental plans are automatically enrolled based on claims data, and there are no waiting periods. Patients without a Asuris health plan can self-enroll. Please review patients’ medical history before treatment. You can confirm patient enrollment by visiting MyDentalCoverage and selecting the Wellness Benefits tab under My Patients’ Benefits.


Outreach and education drive the program’s success

You and your staff can help by encouraging patients enrolled in Dental4Health or those eligible to enroll to take full advantage of the program’s benefits. Enrolled patients may be eligible for up to four visits per year. We recommend scheduling all visits during their first appointment.

  • Coronary artery disease (CAD)

  • Diabetes (DM)

  • End-stage renal disease (ESRD)

  • Head and neck cancers (HNC)

  • Metabolic syndrome (MetS)

  • Oral cancer (OC)

  • Pregnancy (PG)

  • Sjögren's syndrome (SjS)

  • Stroke (CVA)
